Senior SAS Platform Administrator

Job description:
The Data & Analytics team has been using SAS technologies for decades. We are looking for an experienced SAS administrator and developer to strengthen the team. The main tasks are as follows: - Management/administration of the SAS platform: Implementing and securing the SAS configuration; Monitoring server activity and administering logging; Adding users and managing roles; Setting up connectivity with data folder sources; Setting up and securing metadata folder sources; Structuring and administering repositories and metadata; * First-line support for the power and end-users. Installation and configuration of a SAS 9-server under Linux. - Promotion & code review of SAS and SAS/ programs written by developers; - Developing ETL programs in Python are DI in the data warehouse; - Drafting technical documentation. Additionally, R and also used. The consultant must be able to perform the same tasks using these technologies.

Technical skills:
Knowledge of Dutch or French (C1: advanced proficiency) Knowledge of the second national language (B1: intermediate level) 01110 2 / 5 20-10-2026 11:58:58 English proficiency: understanding, writing, and reading (B2: upper-intermediate level) SAS 9.4 administration under Linux: installation, configuration, hotfix/patching, troubleshooting, operation, etc. (L3: at least 5 years of experience) Advanced Linux: OS, services, permissions, performance, logs, etc. (L3: at least 5 years of experience) Shell scripting (bash) for automation and operation (L2: at least 2 years of experience) Networking (DNS, firewalls/ports, basic reverse proxy/load balancer) applied to platforms (L2: at least 2 years of experience) Basic knowledge in one or more of the following technologies: - SAS Viya 4 administration: operations, configuration, upgrades/patching, diagnostics (logs), operation; - Certificates / TLS / PKI: chains, renewal, import/trust, troubleshooting; - SAML SSO + Active Directory (AD FS or Entra ID/Azure AD): IdP/SP configuration, claims/attributes, SAML certificates, troubleshooting; - OpenShift/Kubernetes: namespaces, routes/ ingress, configmaps/secrets, logs, troubleshooting; - Containerization: images, registries, best practices, lifecycle; - R platform administration (packages, environments/libraries, deployment); - Python knowledge (tooling/automation); - Azure Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory/Lakehouse/Pipelines/ integrations).
